Original NCA '9' now in Delta colors

Recently, my good friends Dave DeBace and Terry Love forwarded me photos of the first of MANY DC-9's that will be painted in Delta colors from the NWA fleet. Of interest in this particular aircraft is the tail number; N776NC. Any meaning to anyone??? :) Take care and enjoy...
